Nórtico Alvarinho is made using the finest Alvarinho grapes, picked from small parcels known as jardins – Portuguese for gardens. Once pressed, the must ferments at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, which awaken their fruity and floral aromas and retain the acidity. Nórtico is not aged in oak barrels, so that it reaches you in a lively and vibrant condition.

As in other great winemaking regions of the world, in the north of Portugal, there is a tradition of mixing wines from different vintages to create blends with an identity all of their own. Nórtico Reserva is the expert combination of different vintages blended by the prestigious Spanish winemaker Alberto Orte. It is a wine with fruity aromas, citrus and floral notes. With lively acidity, it also has the complexity that gives it greater depth.
